SpectraMax® ABS / ABS Plus Troubleshooting Tips:
If an error occurs while the drawer is closed and you need to remove a plate,
If the drawer does not open, turn power to the instrument off and then on again.
If the drawer remains closed, turn the incubator off (if it was on).
If the drawer still remains closed, power off the instrument and unplug the power cord. Then try to use a blunt, flat object (such as a spatula) to open the door. With your index finger, pull the plate drawer out of the instrument (do not force the drawer) and remove the plate. This action will not harm the instrument, but should only be taken if the first two options fail to open the drawer.
