Analytical Technologies Group ("ATG Service"), is seeking full-time professional field service talent at all levels to support growing demand for our laboratory instrument maintenance and repair services.
Job Description
You will support customers by performing regular maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of laboratory instruments for our customers, which include pharmaceutical laboratories, research institutions, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. You will learn new skills during our in-house, hands-on training program, which will fully prepare you to service FPLC, HPLC, Bioprocess skids, plate reader, plate washer, centrifugal, and incubator shaker instruments in the field and in our depot.
You will train during the first two to three months of your employment at one of our centers of excellence and participate in our internal training program at these same centers of excellence from time to time throughout your employment.
You will be located in one of our service areas and will report to one of our Area Service Managers and be located in one of our service areas throughout the United States.
Your Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, You will:
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on laboratory instruments as well as the refurbishment of instruments.
- Promote the customer’s long-term interests by extending the life of their instruments.
- Effectively communicate with customers and account team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, provide repair updates, train end-users, and ensure full resolution of all customer needs.
- Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to preventative maintenance service reports, IQ/OQ documentation, and other service documentation.
- Create and properly maintain customer service logs and documentation
- Accurately input repair part orders, service records, and time entries
- Follow Company and customer on-site procedures, including customer GxP protocols, safety requirements, Company dress code requirements, and SOP’s
- Represent and promote ATG in a positive, professional manner and demonstrate our core values: Professionalism, Accountability, Commitment, Tenacity, and Selflessness.
- Serve as a member of the customer account team by contributing your technical expertise to resolve customer questions, troubleshoot customer issues, and identify additional opportunities to serve our customers.
- Attend service training as required. Attend all department meetings as requested

Key Qualifications
You have achieved one of the following:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a major illustrating mathematical and/or engineering aptitude, OR
High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic/mechanical equipment, OR
Equivalent military education, OR
Participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program
You must be willing and able to travel to customer locations to perform field service, including overnight travel
You must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Analytical Technologies Group or ATG Service (“ATG”), www.atgservice.com, is seeking a Sales Associate to inform prospective customers about ATG Service’s capabilities to repair and maintain high-value, mission critical laboratory instruments with 48-hour rapid response times, industry-leading first visit fix rates, and sustainable solutions at a lower cost.
Job Description
You will generate qualified opportunities from leads and daily outbound prospecting efforts.
We will consider remote work provided you have a proven record of operating independently to exceed targets. During the first three to four weeks of your employment you would be expected to visit our center of excellence in Waterford, CT for several days to learn our business, processes, and build relationships with your new team.
You will report to our Sales Leader.
Your Responsibilities
- You will research, prospect, call, and email potential customers to develop sales leads.
- You will learn potential customers’ needs and communicate ATG Service’s value proposition.
- You will contact existing customers to renew and expand contracts and annual preventative maintenance services with those customers.
- You will utilize our database resources to identify, contact, and qualify prospects.
- You will coordinate calls with our operational and technical experts to ensure prospective customers understand our service capabilities.
- You will update our Salesforce instance for contacts, activity, prospecting, and results tracking, aligning with company sales strategy.
- You will report weekly on activity and pipeline progress.
